Every large item move is planned around 3 questions. How heavy is it? Weight sets how many movers the job needs and what equipment comes with them. How big is it? Compare its height, width, and depth with the doorways and stairs it has to pass through. What is the path? Stairs, landings, porch steps, and soft ground all change the plan. Photos of the path are the fastest way to show us.

What counts as a large item?

Anything too heavy, too big, or too awkward for 2 people to move safely with a standard dolly. Pianos, safes, hot tubs, and gym equipment are the most common.

Can you move one large item without a full move?

Yes. Most large items can be booked as a single-item move.

Do you move pool tables?

Tell us the size and whether it has a slate top when you request an estimate. We confirm the plan in the quote.

Can you move a treadmill up or down stairs?

Yes. Share the model and the stairs so we plan the right number of movers.

Can large items go into storage?

Yes. Ask about storage when you book.

What large items need prep before moving day?

Treadmills and home gyms may need to be folded or partly taken apart. Slate pool tables need to be taken apart. Fridges need to be emptied and defrosted. Hot tubs need to be drained and disconnected. Safes should be emptied.

What if a large item will not fit in my new home?

Measure the doorways, stairs, and rooms at the new home before moving day. If an item is not coming with you, ask about junk removal.
