An industrial facility has more types of items than most businesses, so the first step is listing them by how they move. Some equipment needs a licensed electrician, a rigger, or the manufacturer to disconnect, lift, or recommission it. Tell us about it during the estimate and we plan around those steps. Do you move heavy manufacturing equipment?

Tell us the equipment, weight, and size during the estimate. We confirm what our movers will move and what may need a rigger.

Can an industrial move be done over a weekend?

Many can, depending on the size of the facility. Share your downtime window and we will plan phases to fit it.

Do you disconnect machines?

Machines wired or plumbed into the building should be disconnected by a licensed electrician or plumber. We plan around their schedule.

Can you move our parts inventory and keep it organized?

Yes. Label bins and shelves by their new location and our movers unload them in that order.

Do you move the office part of the facility too?

Yes. The office and breakroom move as part of the same job.

What do you need for an accurate industrial estimate?

An equipment list with rough sizes and weights, photos of large or anchored machinery, the new building layout, your preferred dates and downtime window, and any safety rules at either site.

How do you handle safety on an industrial move?

Share your hard hat, vest, and footwear rules and our movers follow them. Clear aisles before moving day. Chemicals, oils, fuel, and compressed gases cannot go on the truck. Equipment should be locked out by your electrician first.
